"There is no movement toward understanding. There appear to
be movements away from or toward understanding: wild or
stray circles, sometimes stunning as crop circles.
Understanding in the present is 'no movement'. No dashing
circles. It is the knowing of I AM."

My days of cryptic spirituality are over for me, my path
is that of everyday life. There is no "other" life. In
apparent "ordinary" interaction with life there is such
depth, such possibilities. If we can awaken in each moment
to the beauty that is there and not replay some past
moment, overlaying the present one. Real awakening is
available now as it has been since the beginning of man.

Only when you are 'there' can you see that, once again, you
are 'here' and, as you suspected, it is 'now'. To 'see' that
there is no 'leaving' is most auspicious and is a sign that
'points' to your own 'sense' of 'being'. How much of it
'all' is 'beyond' control and yet, this simple fact
frustrates one into doing what one has already done again.
This is the argument that must be broken. 'Here-now' conquer
space and time. 'Being-becoming' is stasis and the balance
that awaits the seeker... The goal of 'enlightenment' is to
find the master within. The goal of liberation is to become
that master's guru.
Gentle Peace.

Listen silently to your living,
Open to the infinity of Universal Light.
Up on that other road,
That Way of Freedom,
Lies your true destiny.
Listen silently to your dying,
Please your own understanding before you say it.
Always more, never more,
Paradox and peace,
Time the hero and villian both.
Buddhas and Saints, Parents and Friends,
We meet again here as we once did hence.
When you are not afraid of death, when you can face it
Squarely without fear or self doubt,
Then you are able to live in the same way,
Free and loving, able to trust and enjoy.
This moment here, so much like all the other moments,
Infinite Beloved, I am yours,
And you my own, are most assuredly mine!

'What Value?'
What value suffering,
but to unveil
the divine radiance
of compassion?
What value the enemy,
but to challenge
the capacity
to forgive?
What value loss,
but to make free
the tender mercy
of the heart?

It's like man... it's like the whole universe is me man and
I am it and like I'm you and like I'm talking to you and
you're talking to me and like oh wow ! We're like having a
conversation with ourself and it's like just so unbelievably
shooo wow man that I can be talking to myself like this and
realise it man and it just like blows my pip completely that
we're still like just standing here and just talking and
like I know I should be calm about this but WE'RE TALKING TO
OURSELF !
*sigh*
Don't you just hate it when there becomes here and you can't
use the excuse that you can't find it to avoid your life
anymore ? ;>

A Message To The World
From The Echota Cherokee Tribe Of Alabama
You Are My Sister - You Are My Brother
You are my sister, you are my brother because we were
born of the same Great Spirit; conceived from the same
mound of Earth - slept quietly together in the cradle
of unknowing until He, in His gentleness set us in the
midst of humanity ...You are my sister, You are my brother
...I Love You.
You and I are destined to be companions on the path of
life ... Together or apart. If the color of my skin is
different from yours, it matters not, only let the beauty
of our souls be kindred ...You are my sister, You are my
brother ...I Love You.
I will honor your wisdom and understanding, as you will
mine. Together we shall seek the seeds of truth in the
distant rooms of the Great Spirit; the reflection of
inner knowledge shall wear as beauty upon our faces
...You are my sister, You are my brother ...I Love You.
I will be human and fall down in rough places, but thy
hand is near mine... I will reach for it ... I shall not be
alone, I will embrace you when the rains of sorrow visit you;
I will befriend your soul as if it my own, You are my sister,
You are my brother ...I Love You

"Open"
where are the edges of Open?
movements in Open -
yet there was no "where" from which they came...
look at the movement -
a gesture with no one who gestures!
I have seemingly made a place
seemingly seen a face
the dream of a time and body
that fascinated with detail
yet never stood where it seemed to stand
your two was never two
you made by dreaming
you wove and unwove the weaving
there was no why or how ever!
I don't remember what the word "known" is supposed to mean...
do I orient myself to time and place -
or have they lied who said I did? -
like a breeze blowing through the window
touching just gently
on the surface of "was"
where am I?

Commentary on the necessity of a healthy ego...
A healthy self is a balanced self that can self-direct,
self-define, effectively address tasks, be responsible,
accept self as "okay" and extend that sense of "okayness"
to include others. Lack of balance, obsessing, rationalizing,
difficulty self-directing, allowing others to define oneself,
being overwhelmed by emotions or tasks, evasion of responsibility,
and a sense of "not okayness," or that others are "not okay" -
all tend to interefere with opening to spiritual awareness.
It takes a strong sense of self to "throw away the self," a
relatively integrated being to give up existing as an integrated
being, a strong awareness to withstand the ending of the universe
(one's worldview).
Having said all that - our culture prizes a kind of individualistic
self that is unreal, values the ability to project an image rather
than true integrity, and stereotypes and discriminates against
individuals who "don't fit the mold". So, there are those who
may appear to others not to be strong selves simply because they
don't fit the mold, don't conform, or because their attention isn't
on the "expected things". So - don't be fooled by appearances -
with yourself or "others".

WHO AM I
Everybody wants pleasure, not pleasure but permanent pleasure
and no pain whatsoever.
Everybody wants peace, not peace but permanent peace
and no disturbance whatsoever.
Everybody wants bliss, not bliss but permanent bliss
and no chaos whatsoever.
Everybody wants happiness not happiness but permanent happiness
and no unhappiness whatsoever.
Modern science and technology has a tremendes role in offering tools
and sources for achieving more and more of pleasure, peace, bliss and
happiness to a certain extent.
Still human mind craves for more and more for a permanant state.
Is it possible in physical and mental world ?
This is a very legitimate and logical question for a human mind.
And the search starts. The result is lots of religious, mythological,
metaphysical and philosophical theories and rituals and practices
developed by different people of different race, at different times
in the human evolution history.
Another line of thinking was evolved by certain thinkers about this state
of permanant bliss and they came to a conclusion that this is not possible
in physical and mental area but there is a state beyond mind and body
Those who realised this truth, realised through three main different ways
(1) Gnana Marg (Logical reasoning),
(2) Devotion (total surrender to God) and
(3) Karma Marg (Just act and leave the results in the hands of Allmighty)
IAM is the result of the first way Gnana Marg.
Logic starts with a question that if I have a body and mind
I am the possesser of body and mind and so I am something else than
body-mind and the core question arises, WHO AM I ?
The answer is not an explanation in words but a realisation of
establishment in that state beyond body-mind, where permanant bliss
is just IS and nothing else.

Nobody is totally happy in this world.
Your happiness is total sum of happiness of your body, mind and also
of your loved ones.
Looking for more happiness and less unhappiness, is a naturalresponse of a
human being. So, choosing an action for this, requires right thinking
withpeaceful and unprejudiced mind......This is wisdom.
You should be carefull so that your action might not end inless happiness
and more unhappiness.Bottomline is you have to be calculative , just like
finance,to choose a situation of less unhappiness over a situation ofmore
unhappiness.
With all this thinking also, there is a chance that your judgement
backfires.....this is, you may call, bad luck. There are different
situations, encounters, in life at different timesand you have to deal with
them. It depends upon your strength/weaknessand the color/fibres of the
situation.
There are three ways:
(1) Shanti means no action just watch and wait.
(2) Samadhan means compromise.
(3) Samno means oppose and fight.
Gita shows sixteen different ways to tackle the situatioins of life.First
chapter is description of a situation and last chapter is abouttheresolution
of the situation.Remaining sixteen chapters describes different methods for
differentpeoplewith different temperament. Mainly Gita points the ways of
(1) Gnana (2) Bhakti (3) Karma.
(1) Gnana is Advaita Marga and it means that YOU ARE ATMA and notbody/mind
but possessor of body/mind and so transient happiness/unhappiness
ofbody/mind cannot touch/disturb you being ATMA which is always in bliss
beingSATCHITTANANDA. THIS IS SHANTI.
(2) Bhakti is devotion to GOD to whom you are related on personal levelwith
a firm faith/conviction/total surrender that whatever happiness/unhappiness
GOD gives you, you accept as PRASAD with a understanding that it will be
alwaysgood for you. THIS IS SAMADHAN.
(3) Karma means you are the creator of your own happiness/unhappinessby your
actions of this and past lives. You have not to blame others. So you
havechoice of actions, to create your future. THIS IS SAMNO.

Why are we searching for TRUTH/GOD or whatever ?
Because we are not happy with our lives.
Why are we not happy ?Because life does not offer results as per our desires
and wishes.
We all have body/mind and ego to feel them and to function in the worldfor
survival. That is perfectly natural. The whole cycle of NATURE is
birth/growing/death. The same cycle applies to us being part of
NATURE.Except human being on this planet, no other species are in search for
Truth/God or pray for their wishes to be fulfilled.Human beings are evolved
with higher intelligence with logical mind andthey search for Truth or God,
with a hope to end the dilemma of life.
Andthus they have come up with the idea of ATMA/GOD/LIBERATION.Actually,
nobody has found such TRUTH/GOD who can solve all theproblems of a human
mind as per his wishes.
ANNIHILATION OF THE PART OF EGO WHO DEMANDS ALL HIS WISHES/DESIRES TOBE
FULLFILLED, SHOULD BE THE RESULT OF THE SEARCH FOR THUTH.
This is the main and common aim of Gnana/Bhakti/Karma Marg.TO SEE THE TRUTH
OF LIMITATIONS OF BODY-MIND-EGO, IS THE STARTING POINTOF SEEING THE TRUTH
AND THEN LIFE BECOMES EASY WITH ALL THE PLEASURES ANDPAINS ALSO WITHOUT
STRUUGLE. * * * * * *
SIMPLE SYNTHETIC SADHANA
This is a simple approach towards sadhana in day to day life.Gnana Marg
demands intelligence and logic. Bhakti Marg demands emotional devotion with
faith.Karma Marg demands total attention in whatever you do.Living a regular
life in this world , you must have intelligence, logic, devotion, faith and
attention.
(1) Always remember at the back of your mind, that you are owner ofmind and
body, and so you as you think must be separate from body/mind. (GNANA)
(2) Find out where your mind is naturally attracted effortlesslytowards any
God/Saint/Mantra, just like iron is attracted towards magnet withoutany
effort. Surrender Totally. (BHAKTI)
(3)Find out what type of work do you like where your total attentiontakes
place effortlessly. Start working. (KARMA)It is very easy to combine the
above three effortless modes of workingin daily life and it becomes a simple
synthetic sadhana.
No more discussion of shastras. No more fuss about different philosophies.
No cofusion.
Key Word is EFFORTLESS.
This brings harmony and peace.
The journey of awakening continues and my only destination is to arrive at
the present moment and be present with it.
