Recommended Mailing Lists
Here are some mailing lists that the site author recommends. To subscribe, or to find out more,
simply click on any of the links below and follow instructions. Unsubscribing from these lists is easy,
and instructions are included when you sign up. You will have to first sign up with yahoo.com
(if not already signed up) to subscribe to these lists (you will automatically be directed to the
appropriate place when attempting to subscribe to a list). You can choose to receive any of these
lists as individual Emails, in digest format (one Email containing all posts on a given day), or just
read and post messages from a web browser.
Harsha Satsangh. Founded
by a member of the NondualitySalon mailing list, this one is basically a sort of virtual Indian Ashrama, and
many members are devotees of Sri Ramana Maharshi.
Along The Way. A single daily
mailing is sent out on this list with quotations from many of the great masters. This is a one-way list only, you
cannot post, but will receive only one Email per day. Highly recommended.
Realization List. This list
is associated with the www.realization.org website dedicated to Self-Realization. At the moment the membership
is low but is gradually growing. Anything you post here may be used freely on the realization.org website, so
if you don't want your posts used on the Web, avoid this one - otherwise, it's likely to become quite popular.
Nisargadatta. Dedicated to
the teachings of the famous Sage of South India, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, author of the book "I Am That."
This list is medium-volume, and postings there can be quite interesting. Sometimes book excerpts and
excerpts from other talks given by Nisargadatta Maharaj are presented -- otherwise, this is an open
discussion forum.
Consciousness Is All. A
list devoted to general Advaita, with a slight emphasis on the Ramesh Balsekar/Wayne Liquorman methodology.
